WESTERN EUROPE: VOD MARKET TO REACH EUR 30.5 BILLION IN 2027

A REPORT BY ITMEDIA CONSULTING SHOWCASED THAT THE STREAMING MARKET IN THE REGION IS SHOWING THE FIRST CLEAR SIGNS OF SLOWING DOWN ITS GROWTH AS A RESULT OF THE NUMEROUS FACTORS THAT WILL EMERGE IN THE COMING YEARS. 

[...] Paid VoD (SVoD & TVoD) is expected to plateau, with projected 3% growth (adjusted for inflation) over the next three years. Only sports streaming is forecast to maintain positive growth, playing a larger role in VoD offerings.
